Project Overview
Robin Hood Industrial Estate is a busy, fully occupied multi-let estate in Nottingham, and the landlord’s brief was clear: bring the whole estate up to standard without disrupting the businesses trading from it.
The works were substantial. 12 units received a new overclad roofing system, installed over the existing roof to deliver a watertight, insulated finish while tenants continued operating underneath. All 15 units were externally redecorated to give the estate a single, consistent identity, and three units gained new roller shutter doors to improve access and security. Two vacant units were fully refurbished inside and out, ready for immediate re-let.
With so many occupiers on site, sequencing was everything. Craig and the team phased the works unit by unit, agreeing access windows with each tenant, keeping yards and loading bays clear, and maintaining a tidy, well-managed site throughout. Regular communication with the managing agent meant no surprises on progress, cost or programme.
The full £1,600,000 programme completed in 25 weeks, on time and on budget, leaving the landlord with a modernised, better-performing estate and tenants who barely noticed the works happening around them.
