Roofing refurbishment
Full refurbishment of roofs, from strip and re-sheet to overclad systems installed directly over the existing roof. We work with all common roof types – profiled metal, built-up, composite panel, and fibre cement, including the safe management and removal of asbestos-containing sheets – and design each solution around the building’s condition, the landlord’s budget, and the occupier’s need to keep trading. The result is a watertight, insulated, warrantied roof that will perform for decades, not just until the next lease event.
Roofing coating
Where a roof is structurally sound but weathered, a liquid-applied coating system is often the most cost-effective route. We prepare and treat the existing surface, seal laps, fixings and joints, and apply a high-performance elastomeric or cut-edge corrosion coating to restore waterproofing and reflectivity. Coatings extend the life of a roof by 10 to 25 years at a fraction of the cost of replacement, with minimal disruption and manufacturer-backed guarantees.
Cladding replacement
When wall cladding is beyond economic repair, or simply no longer meets thermal or fire performance expectations, we strip and replace it with modern insulated composite panels or built-up systems. Replacement cladding transforms both the performance and the appearance of a unit, improving EPC ratings and giving an older building a contemporary finish that helps it let. We manage the full package, including flashings, trims, openings, and interfaces with existing roofing and structure.
Cladding repairs
Not every cladding issue calls for replacement. Impact damage, corroded sheets, failed sealants, loose fixings, and worn coatings can all be repaired to bring a façade back to a sound, presentable condition. We carry out sectional sheet replacement, recoating, resealing, and refixing, matching existing profiles and colours as closely as possible. Ideal for dilapidation works and estate refresh programmes where budgets need to stretch across multiple units.
Gutter & rainwater systems
Blocked, corroded, or undersized gutters are one of the most common causes of water ingress in industrial buildings. We clean, repair, line, and replace gutters, downpipes and outlets, including valley and boundary gutters, using liquid lining systems or fully replacing where required. Every system is sized and detailed to handle current rainfall intensities, and we can include gutter guards and regular maintenance regimes to keep it performing.
Rooflight installation & replacement
Rooflights bring natural daylight into warehouse space, cutting lighting costs and improving the working environment, but old GRP rooflights yellow, crack and become fragile, presenting both a performance and a safety risk. We replace existing rooflights like-for-like or upgrade them to modern, non-fragile, thermally efficient units, and can install new rooflights where a building needs more daylight. All work is carried out with appropriate fall protection and non-fragility certification.
